Wow, what a nice change of pace. It was so refreshing to have several days off just to do nothing. I did have some things to do but I really didn't mind that people flaked out or changed the plans. 

Obama

Need I say more. Congratulations to President elect Obama. I also would like to congratulate the voters that turned out and let their voices be heard. This has been a emotional and very enlightening year. I have been both elated and overcome with pride at the outcome. I know that changes will not occur all at once but it does as a country put us in a new era of change and hope.

Bai Ling

Grabbing coffee with my daughter at my favorite spot and there she was...Bai Ling. After talking with the owner and her staff I walked over and introduced myself. She was soft spoken and very engaging. We talked about her blog and she showed me her picture with Placido Domingo. We both agreed that he has one of the best voices ever. I hope she has a chance to stop by my blog.

Friday's

Best thing about my fridays lately is the the fact that the weekend is here. It's the fact that unlike the rest of the week, I have a little more flexibility. Schedules are still tight but at least i'm not pulled in all the directions that I get pulled in during the week.

I must admit that I do enjoy the hustle and bustle of my life but the quiet times take on such a special time lately that I find myself just wanting to pack a bag and just take a drive out in any direction to somewhere I have never been.
